Cathy co-founded THE GOLF BOOT CAMP in 1994 in Kent, Washington and then in 1996 built the second GOLF BOOT CAMP in San Martine, Ca. In 2009 Cathy started her third GOLF BOOT CAMP here on the west coast of Florida at Timber Creek Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida.

Cathy joined the LPGA in 1990.  She is the first female ex-tour player to earn the level of Master Teaching Professional with "THE GOLFING MACHINE". Prior to teaching, Cathy had a stellar career as an amateur in the state of Hawaii and then played the Futures Tour. She turned her golf career towards teaching and soon earned from her contemporaries the nickname "impermeable patience." Cathy has an eye to see a correct golf motion; any incorrect motion stands out to her like Dennis the Mennis' cowlick. She will see the solution to your golf issues usually before a handshake and will dedicate your time to acquiring the corrected motion. Cathy has an unstoppable drive to see her students achieve their individual goals, stopping at nothing to get the ball to fly to where the intended target is.
